SR-9 Next Steps

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has completed a State Environmental Study (SES) for proposed improvements to the State Route 9 (SR-9) in Washington County, Utah between I-15 and the future Southern Parkway connection (approximately 2800 West). The SES has been approved and has been published. This comes after UDOT conducted a public scoping meeting in March 2019, and a public hearing in February 2020. The completed SES will be available for public view via the following locations beginning June 10, 2020:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by UDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated January 17, 2017, and executed by FHWA and UDOT.
