| description: | The Falling Weight Deflection (FWD) testing was used to characterize the subgrade support and the Resilient Modulus (Mr) was estimated. This is a material property for the strength of the ground under the pavement used in pavement design. Technically the Mr is a lab determined value from tri axial texting depending on the soil sample density and moisture content. The FWD testing provides an Elastic Modulus (E).
