Layer: 2006 Load Transfer Efficiency (ID: 3)

Name: 2006 Load Transfer Efficiency

Display Field: FILENAME

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryMultipoint

Description: The department used our Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) to test the load transfer efficiency (LTE) between the concrete slabs for the jointed concrete pavement that was constructed without dowel bars. A load was placed one side of the joint, the deflections were measured on both sides and the ratio was used to determine the LTE. Good aggregate interlock is important for supporting the loads as they cross from slab to slab.
